Our Certificates
Our commitment from the beginning was to make the finest garments. We believe that you cannot accomplish that without an uncompromising commitment to quality of construction, quality of raw materials and quality of your employees. From the farms, to yarn spinners, to factories that cut and sew the garments, we have complete control of and transparency into our supply chain. Practices like organic farming, employee-provided healthcare, fair paying wages, and wind power are a few of the many standards we have established from day one.
Our mills used adhere to something called SA 800 for Social Accountability Management System, and FLO (Fairtrade Labeling Organizations) which are dedicated to alleviating poverty afflicting the majority of the world’s farmers and workers by setting and certifying the compliance of stringent, socially- conscious production standards.
The SUPIMA® trademark is the consumers’ guarantee that the branded textile product they are buying contains the finest U.S.- Grown Pima Cotton. By licensing the entire supply chain SUPIMA® provides added guarantee to customers that SUPIMA® trademarked goods are made with 100% U.S. Pima cotton of the highest quality.
All Supima cotton is ginned on “roller gins” that operate at much lower speeds in order to gently separate the fiber from the seed. In contrast, regular cotton is processed by high-speed “saw gins” which use a more aggressive system to break the fiber away from the seed.
Our Merino Wool comes from merino sheep raised on a farm in New Zealand. The farm upholds our mutual goals of maintaining animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and quality fibers. As a naturally regenerative fabric that breaks down in water and soil, merino wool is perfect for making responsible and high-quality apparel.
Our factories use Suzlon 1250 wind power to encourage green power and continue leadership in environmental production.
WRAP is an independent, objective, non-profit team of global social compliance experts dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education.
The raw materials we use are grown within a global organic textile standards and certifications including Organic Exchange 100 Guidlines and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management System.
